Born on 4th of April 1994 in the serene hill station of Nainital, Uttarakhand, Saurabh Pant’s life took an unexpected turn when he was diagnosed with pneumonia at the tender age of three. But that was just the beginning of his journey. At the age of five, he lost his vision, and his world turned upside down.
But instead of giving up, Saurabh rose to the challenge and embraced his new reality. At the age of 12, he was introduced to Braille, and that changed his life forever. He attended the prestigious National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities (NIEPVD) in Dehradun, where he received his primary education and also learned how to use screen reader access for devices.
After completing his schooling, Saurabh Pant set his sights on higher education and enrolled at Kirori Mal College in Delhi University. Despite facing several challenges, he emerged as a shining star and a role model for many.
But Saurabh’s true calling was writing, and he had always harbored a passion for it since his school days. With the help of technology, he published his first work in September 2014, and since then, there has been no looking back. Today, he has authored more than 120 works and has won an impressive nine international awards.
