Shubhan Balvally is from the world of Advertising and Films, having started his career from 1987 with Feature films (GURU DUTT FILMS PVT LTD), T.V Serials, Documentaries as an Assistant Director/Assistant Editor. Then later moving on and eventually settling down in Advertising Industry. He worked as a Films Manager with various agencies like PADUKONE Advertising, CLARION, R.KSWAMY/BBDO, CHAITRA LEO-BURNETT, LINTAS and later on as Head of the Films Department (EVEREST Advertising). He was also a Films Consultant for TAG WORLDWIDE INDIA Advertising for almost 10 years after which he retired to pursue his passion of writing. Shubhan has written five Novels so far and is currently working on his sixth Novel where he is attempting Historical Science Fiction for the first time. He is based in the city of Mumbai, India.
He has won many Awards so far such as GLANTOR X NATIONS CHOICE AWARD for 100 RISING AUTHOR AND EDUCATIONIST, FOXCLUES INDIA PRIME AWARDS for INDIA’S TOP 100 AUTHORS 2022. BEST PLOT CREATION for his debut novel ARIHANT – REVENGE PAR EXCELLENCE and AUTHOR OF THE YEAR – FICTION for his 2nd last Novel NOCTAMBULISM – FLOOD OF BLOOD by Ukiyoto Publishing, apart from many other Awards which he won at NE8x® LITFEST. He was recently awarded with INSPIRING INDIANS (AUTHOR) 2023 by NE8x® /BHARATGUILD.
Shubhan is a versatile writer where initially he wrote THE ARIHANT TRILOGY namely, ARIHANT- REVENGE PAR EXCELLENCE, ARIHANT RESURRECTED – A NEW BREED OF PATRIOTS and ARIHANT DEHUMANIZED – BATTLEFIELD VERTEX which were in the genre of science fiction and then he successfully ventured into writing a murder mystery titled NOCTAMBULISM – FLOOD OF BLOOD. Now, he recently published a sequel to the same known as FLOOD OF BLOOD 2 – BLOODHOUNDS RISING. All his books are available on AMAZON KINDLE, NOTION PRESS, FLIPKART and BARNES & NOBLE as E Books and Paperback.
Apart from Awards, his novels have received rave reviews from not just Indian but also from International Book critics and two of his Novels namely, ARIHANT and NOCTAMBULISM received an Official Selection and Recommendation at the DIORAMA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL and MARKET which was held on 1st and 2nd December, 2022 in New Delhi, India.
Shubhan firmly believes in QUALITY and not QUANTITY where he strives to write only original stories which are not only one-of-a-kind but also extremely entertaining.
And given the fact that Book-to-screen adaptations are ‘in-trend’ now a days, Shubhan is definitely a ‘PRIZE CATCH’ if one is looking for fresh, unique and entertaining stories.
